Parkview volunteers are needed at Joseph’s Coat on

December 2 and January 6 from 9 AM to 12 PM.

Please let Neysa Woolf (614-833-0339) know if you can help.

Cookie Walk to benefit Joseph’s Coat

Cookie bakers needed! The annual Cookie Walk to benefit Joseph’s Coat is coming up. Volunteers are needed to make Christmas cookies. The suggestion is 10 dozen cookies per baker, but any amount you make will be graciously accepted.

Cookies must be homemade. Bar cookies are not accepted because they tend to soften and flavor the other cookies.   Do not make peanut butter cookies because the strong flavor affects other cookies.  Also, please avoid traditional chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies, as these are not typically selected for the holidays. Cookies may be made ahead and frozen.

If you make cookies, please pack them in disposable bags or containers
and bring them to the church by 10 AM on Saturday, December 9.

Questions? See Neysa Woolf, or call her at 614-833-0339.

Boxes of cookies will be on sale at Parkview on Sunday, December 10.

The youth at the church will be presenting their annual
Christmas Program on December 10 during the morning
worship service. This year the program will showcase

individual talents as well as talents of the group.

The Dress Rehearsal for the Christmas program will be

Thursday, December 7. We will provide dinner beginning
at 6:00 PM. The dress rehearsal will begin at 6:30 PM.
Christmas Eve Worship Services
This year, Christmas Eve falls on Sunday.  Therefore, we will have 2 opportunities for worship on December 24th.  We will meet at 10:30 AM for our normal Sunday morning worship service.  Then at 6:30 PM, we will have our traditional Christmas Eve candlelight service.  Please consider joining us for both!

On Sunday, December 3, our Shoe Box Ministry came to an end and we appreciate all your donations, not only shoe boxes but gloves and hats as well. Our donations came from individuals as well as proceeds from the 3rd quarter Kroger Rewards. You are a very generous congregation and because of you over 100 boys and girls in our area will open a shoe box at Christmas and find so many neat items! In our next newsletter, we’ll let you know how many boxes we collected but for now we just want to thank you so very much for helping to make this project a success.
May God bless each of you during this holiday season and in the year ahead.          — Anita Hesson & Judy Krugh
