SHOEBOX MINISTRY FOR
LOCAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
It’s time again to be thinking about fixing up shoe boxes for one of our local elementary schools…..
Ages 5 – 7 Boys and Girls
Ages 8 – 10 Boys and Girls
Suggested items to put into the boxes:
Pens, pencils, scissors, glue sticks, notebooks, crayons, flash cards, soap, washcloth, tooth brush/tooth paste, mints, gum, toys, age related items; ALL SHOEBOXES MUST HAVE A HAT AND GLOVES IN THEM.
In August I will be putting out empty shoe boxes that I have for you to fill. You can use the plastic shoe boxes also. I would like them wrapped. This way the children will have something to open up at Christmas time. Please remember that there may be extra children in the family, so please put extra candy and gum in the box. PLEASE NO CHOCOLATE OR NUTS.
Should you have any question about this, please contact Judy Krugh. I would like to have all shoe boxes by December 4, so that I can get them to the school in time before the Christmas holiday.
Thank you so very much for helping me with this Mission Project. I would like to be able to deliver around 120 boxes this year. That would be more than last year.
