Missions

Joseph’s Coat
Joseph’s Coat accepts donations of gently used clothing, shoes, furniture, household items, and personal care items and give them to needy people in our community free of charge.  Our donations are crucial to the success of this ministry.  Most needed at this time are cool weather clothing, especially in school age and ‘tween sizes, bedding and household items such as dishes, silverware, and pots & pans. For more information, check out the Joseph’s Coat website:
Helping Hands
Parkview donated 251 items in the month of November!
Our next Helping Hands Sunday is December 17.  Please remember
that the demand at the food pantry is increasing and they depend on donations to keep their shelves stocked.
Christmas Joy Offering
The Christmas Joy Offering is one of the special offerings Parkview participates in every year. The offering distributes gifts 50/50 to the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions and to Presbyterian-related racial ethnic schools and colleges. The Assistance Program provides essential financial support to church workers and their families. Presbyterian-related schools and colleges provide education and spiritual development while nurturing racial and ethnic heritage. This has been a Presbyterian commitment for nearly 140 years. You will find offering envelopes in the pews and as a bulletin insert during the month of December. The collection will take place at the worship service on Sunday, December 24. Thank you for your prayerful consideration to this worthy cause.
